Bequests
There are several ways that you can make a bequest or gift through your Will to the society of St Vincent de Paul. The provision you choose will depend upon your circumstances, what type of property you wish to bequeath, and your other obligations.
In a broad sense, a Bequest is any gift of property, stocks, bonds, or any other assets, by means of a Will.
A bequest costs you nothing now, yet your gift will support the Society in the future.
A bequest provides a way for you to make a lasting impact on the quality of life for those in need. Many bequests continue to provide valuable support long after they are received.
Bequests to the Society of St Vincent de Paul are exempt from federal estate taxes, so the society is able to use the full amount of the gift for the purposes you specify.
Memorials
Your financial gift, often made in lieu of flowers, Memorials pay tribute to the memory of deceased relatives and friends. Just send us your check and the name of the person you wish to remember and we will send cards to their bereaved families to let them know of your special gift to the society of St Vincent de Paul.
